Physiotherapist
Job Introduction
Some people see a workout. You see independence, energy, and a reason to smile.
We’re looking for a Physiotherapist with heart, humour, and a passion for helping people move—not just physically, but emotionally. This is a rare opportunity to join Connaught Care, a luxury care home group that’s rewriting what later life looks and feels like.
With six beautifully designed homes already open and six more on the way, we’re one of the UK’s most forward-thinking care providers. Our residents enjoy five-star surroundings, personalised hospitality, and—thanks to you—a wellness experience that keeps them feeling strong, confident, and extraordinary.
Because let’s be honest: movement isn’t about six-packs and spin bikes here. It’s about mobility, dignity, joy, and the tiny victories that make daily life better.
What you’ll be doing:
Working closely with our Life Enrichment & Wellbeing Manager and Home Manager, you’ll work within our warm and dynamic support team not only to provide appropriate clinical assessments, but also to deliver engaging, accessible fitness and movement sessions tailored to our residents’ individual needs. You’ll be running:
One-to-one mobility and strength sessions
Group fitness classes (gentle exercise, balance, posture, stretching)
Tailored rehabilitation-style programmes
Supporting wellness workshops and wellbeing events
Encouragement, confidence-building, and a fair few laughs along the way
Creating problem lists, generating SMART goals, and integrating it as part of the residents' care plans
Monitoring & progress provision, updating key stakeholders, and where relevant, a discharge report.
What you’ll need:
Qualified Physiotherapist & Registration with HCPC & CSP
Minimum of 2 years working as a physiotherapist
Experience working with a range of ages in various clinical areas
A kind, energetic approach with great communication skills
An understanding that “extraordinary” isn’t measured in reps—it’s measured in smiles, stamina, and confidence
Why Connaught?
Our vision is simple: to help our residents Live a Life More Extraordinary. But we believe that starts with you.
So we’re creating homes that support your wellbeing too—offering an exceptional rewards package, real development opportunities, career pathways, and daily job satisfaction that goes beyond the gym floor. Whether you’re delivering a tailored session or helping someone take their first unassisted steps in months—you’ll be making a difference that matters.
If you believe exercise is about empowerment, and that fitness should always feel personal, purposeful, and fun—we’d love to hear from you.
