Events Coordinator
Job Introduction
Some people plan events. You create moments that become memories.
We’re looking for a brilliant, heart-led Events Coordinator to bring joy, connection, and everyday magic to life at Connaught Care—a luxury, all-inclusive care home group redefining what later life can look and feel like.
With six stunning homes already open and six more in development across the South of England, Connaught Care blends exceptional care with elegant, hospitality-led living. Our mission is simple: to help every resident (and every team member) Live a Life More Extraordinary.
This role isn’t about filling calendars—it’s about creating meaning. Whether it's a quiet poetry reading, a vibrant birthday celebration, or a themed afternoon that makes someone’s week, you’ll be at the heart of our homes’ spirit and energy.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Design, plan and deliver a wide range of enriching events, from daily activities to larger community celebrations
Create personalised experiences tailored to residents’ preferences, hobbies, and life stories
Work closely with residents, families, and care teams to ensure every event is inclusive, thoughtful, and meaningful
Support links with local groups, schools, entertainers and volunteers to bring the community into the home
Working with the Events Manager to manage budgets, calendars, and promotional materials with creativity and care
Track engagement and feedback to continually improve and innovate our events programme
What You’ll Bring:
Experience in event planning or coordination—hospitality, care, or community settings a bonus
A warm, engaging personality and excellent communication skills
Creativity, attention to detail, and a flair for creating joyful, inclusive experiences
Confidence in working with older adults, including those living with dementia
A proactive, can-do mindset and a love for seeing people smile
Why Connaught?
We believe in more than care—we believe in celebration, connection, and joy. You’ll be supported by a passionate team, a beautiful working environment, and a leadership culture that values creativity as much as compliance.
Here, your ideas matter. Your events matter. And the difference you make? It matters more than you know.
If you love organising meaningful experiences and believe that joy should be part of daily life at every age, we’d love to hear from you.
